The answer is obvious - reduce the drinking age to 18. People will then drink less (18 drinks as opposed to 21) which is much safer.

Thank you for your comment. While I agree that fewer drinks would be an obvious answer, I'm not sure that reducing the number from 21 drinks in a night to 18 is enough of a difference to eliminate (or reduce) the dangers of over-consumption. Perhaps the answer lies in teaching children that alcohol in mass quantity can kill and that responsibility is more important.
